Here’s the backstory of the Childless Cat Ladies Unite! shirt:
In a clip from the resurfaced July 2021 interview with Tucker Carlson, the Republican VP nominee, JD Vance, groused that the country was run by Democrats and corporate oligarchs who were “childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives.” He tweeted on September 14th, 2021: “The cat ladies, man. They must be stopped.”
In an attempt to defend his old remarks, Vance said on “The Megyn Kelly Show” on July 19th, 2024, “It’s not a criticism of people who don’t have children. … This is about criticizing the Democratic Party for becoming anti-family and anti-child.”
And thus the Childless Cat Ladies Unite! T-shirt was created.
